Set in the protected Madonie Park with its forests of ash trees, the timeless commune of Pollina is an intimate base from which to explore this Sicilian region’s broody volcanoes, rugged rolling hills, ancient olive groves and incredibly atmospheric ancient villages. Climb the Spanish watchtower built in 1597 for unique views of the Aeolian Islands, Capo d’Orlando, and Cefalù.

Only 13 kms separate Pollina from Cefalù, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, with its Norman cathedral and outstanding beaches lapped by turquoise waters.

The Location

Mangia’s Pollina Resort is set in 40 acres of natural parkland and sits atop a promontory surrounded by mountains and the sea, with the Aeolian Islands visible on the horizon. The resort's beach is easily accessed via a panoramic path or lifts carved into the rock. Rooms are spacious and offer inspiring views, while six restaurants and sea-view bars present you with typically flawless Sicilian cuisine. Find wellness treatments onsite from shiatsu to Sicilian massage, plus padel, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, and an abundance of watersports including canoeing, windsurfing and sailing.
