Set in the serene village of Gharb in the westernmost corner of Gozo, this three-terraced farmhouse boasts outstanding views of the sparkling Mediterranean sea and the peaceful countryside. One terrace even has views of the Ta’ Gordan Lighthouse, and the famous Ta’ Pinu Basilica which, like restaurants and a supermarket, is just a five-minute walk away. The walks on this side of the island are truly out-of-this world, with the Instagram-ready Wied il Mielah window only 20 to 25 minutes on foot.
One of the best ways to experience the beauty and charm of Gozo is to stay a few nights in a typical Gozitan farmhouse in an area with great walks and sensational views. It will thrill XP members to know we’ve sourced a gem of a property that fits all the criteria for a memorable stay on Gozo. Il-Liedna (English: The Ivy) is a newly built house of character, carefully designed and furnished in the style of a quintessential Gozitan farmhouse. Roomy, spacious, and full of natural light, the property is perfect for outdoor living and barbeques, with a lovely pool and alfresco dining space. Il-Liedna sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms, all with their bath and showers. A big, fully equipped kitchen and living space complete the great ambience.
