Hungary
While most travellers know Hungary for the stunning architecture of Budapest, Europe's nightlife capital, there are many more layers to this Eastern European country, including dynamic folk art and rejuvenating thermal spas. Perhaps one of Hungary’s most fascinating attractions is Aquincum, a civilian town built by the ancient Romans in around 100 AD. The town became the seat of the Roman province of Pannonia Inferior in AD 106. Today, visitors can explore Vindolanda’s courtyards, fountains, houses and baths.
